City Girl goes Camping

Remember that nature class?
Well there is so much more to say about it, it is amazing and I really enjoy it.
But on more important notes, my teacher Ralph Clevenger took us camping, it is part of the class and it is amazing.
We went to Big Sur. It was the first time I have gone camping, the first time I help build a tent and so on. It was magnificent and I am looking forward the next camping trip, next week!

So I have been taking a Nature class, in which I am breaking free of some fears and terrors.

So I am trying to keep up with this blog situation, I am just realizing what a photo blog is for, I know I am centuries behind but I am learning and I will catch up!!!

Un poquito de mi...
Después de un photo shoot, decidí aprovechar las luces que había rentado y tomar un par, probablemente muchos más que sólo un par, de autoretratos.
Todavía no me he sentado a editar y a jugar con ellos, pero aquí les dejo uno.

Recolección de basura

José Luis Ximenes trabaja en la recolección de basura para el Ayuntamiento de Huixquilucan. No cuentan con el transporte adecuado para separar y transportar la basura, ya que el Estado de México no les ha proporcionado el equipo necesario y deben de hacer lo que pueden con lo que cuentan.

La basura es uno de los mayores problemas a los que nos enfrentamos en México. No hay espacio suficiente para desechar lo que producimos. No hay una cultura de reciclaje. No hay camiones especializados y en buen estado para transportarla. No hay basureros suficientes. Y la lista de problemas al respecto continua. Es un problema al que debemos de prestar atención y resolverlo, antes de que nos demos cuenta que ya se nos fue de las manos.
